General principles for the creation of working groups at EVEL:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. The principle of openness (transparency)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This means that the members and partners of EVEL know the objectives of working groups and all members may also apply for becoming a member of some working group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. The principle of voluntariness<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This means that members participate in working groups voluntarily in the interests of the whole organisation, without hoping to receive any remuneration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. The principle of efficiency and the representation of water companies with different characteristics (the characteristics of water companies: large, small, dispersed, moderate attention to regional aspects)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This means that the representation of the experiences and needs of different water companies must be ensured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4. The principle of the representation of the interests of water companies<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This means that the majority of members participating in working groups with the right to vote are the representatives of water companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
5. The principle of ensuring competence<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This means that the members of working groups must be reasonably competent in matters under discussion. If necessary, experts and consultants will be engaged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The working groups of EVEL mainly operate in the form of meetings and round table discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
